During the summer months, these perennials are loaded with daisy-like flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and recently even some burnt umbers and reds. Each flower is capped by a large, dark seed head that the bees and butterflies love! Rudbeckia thrives and full-sun and any shade may stunt it&#8217;s flower growth. Rudbeckia make great cut flowers, and the &#8216;Goldstrum&#8217; variety is a Virginia native, recognized by the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, who says that &#8216;Goldstrum&#8217; is a great plant for creating rain gardens.<\/p>\n<h2>Varieties<\/h2>\n<p>Take a look below at a couple of the varieties of rudbeckia carried by Meadows Farms.
