After a cold winter break, we are back!
What a cold, snowy “winter” we’ve had so far. Thankfully, spring is here, and we receive fresh shipments daily. We are filling the beds, garden center, and greenhouse with all your gardening and property beautification needs. Stop by and see us; we are happy to assist you with all your gardening and plant questions or needs. You will receive over 45 years of nursery experience with our management staff. We can field the bug, fungus, and pest problem questions with first-hand experience. Our goal is to make you successful in all your gardening endeavors. Rely on our knowledgeable staff to advise and assist you this spring. Our goals are to have quality plants and knowledgeable service.
Special Events Throughout Our Area
Winchester is home to the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival. This will be the 98th annual festival. More than 250,000 people will attend the 6 days of events. This year “the Bloom” will be held April 25th – May 4th, 2025. The festival has been attended by many celebrities in the past, including Lucille Ball, Adam West, Martha Stewart, and Dan Aykroyd, to name a few. The 6 days of the festival have many events and entertainment to keep everyone busy. A Fireman’s parade (featuring over 170 firetruck and squad units). The Grand Feature parade (includes floats, bands, special units, and official cars). The parade usually lasts about 3 hours. “Weekend in the Park,” held at Jim Barnett Park, features over 250 craft and food vendors and live music. Handley High School is the spot to be May 2nd, 2025, for Trex Music Fest preceding the Fireworks at 9 PM. So come to Winchester and celebrate spring with us in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

The ale and beer fest at Historic Belle Grove Plantation has been retired. It’s been replaced by a newly expanded Wine Fest on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. This event will be a grand celebration of Virginia beverages showcasing the best of our region’s wines, spirits, and beer.
June 7th – The Northern Shenandoah Valley Master Gardeners Association will again host Garden Fest featuring an extensive plant sale, gardening demonstrations and talks, vendors, and children’s activities. Admission and parking for the festival are free, and tours of Belle Grove’s Manor House will be conducted at a reduced admission fee. More details to come!

May 31st and June 1st, 2025 – Virginia Herb Festival
If you are looking for a place to eat, drink, shop, and be entertained all day, they are that place. Bring the family and the pets. Stay all day and enjoy their beautiful farm. There is plenty of outdoor seating from 10 AM -5 PM. Brewery open 10-8
