And just like that Spring is over and Summer is here! We hope that you all have remained healthy and found joy in gardening this season. We will continue to stock a great variety of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs throughout the summer months. Don’t forget to check out our seasonal grab n go pots that will be ready-made for you to put in your pots at home and take the guesswork out of container gardening.

As the temperatures begin to soar, we may find that there was not enough rain to help get us through. Watering will again become a priority.  We have been busy setting up the nursery for all your summer needs including all the sprinklers, hoses, and repair kits you need to keep your lawns and landscapes watered through the hardest parts of July and August. Tree diapers, water wands, and soaker hoses are all great items to help maintain your new plantings. We also have Mulch and Straw, sometimes overlooked as summertime helpers, but important tools to beat the heat for your plants. They keep the soil cool, retain moisture, and help keep pesky weeds at bay. Hopefully, you will find a product here at the store to help you fill the water maintenance needs of your plantings thru this summer season.

We loved having some new events this spring season and cannot wait to do more of them this summer! We will be firing up the grill again on June 19th for more FREE hotdogs and a FREE Father’s Day craft for the kids. To go with our big July 4th sale, there will be more free hot dogs and in August we will have another Kids Craft Saturday focused on teacher appreciation! We can’t wait to see you there!

Our greenhouse is full of colorful annuals which are perfect for sprucing up your flower beds and pots! Summer perennials are blooming, and we have a wide selection for the sun and shade! Watch for our summer specials on our web page or in your email!
