About Us

Our convenient nursery offers a full selection of shade and flowering trees, native plants, Japanese maples, shrubs, groundcovers, and perennial and annual flower selections, including options from the Proven Winners and Simply Beautiful lines. In addition to our plant material, we have garden tools, topsoil, planting mixes, mulches, fertilizers, and pesticides, along with a wide variety of organic products. We have everything you need to plant and care for your lawn and garden.

Our nursery serves Stafford, Garrisonville, Aquia, Quantico, Hartwood, Falmouth, Bel Air, Triangle, and other nearby areas. We’ve been serving the greater Stafford area for nearly 20 years.


It may not feel like it yet, but spring is right around the corner. That means gardeners everywhere are starting to break out tools, tend to the soil, and grow seedlings indoors to prepare for spring planting. There’s a lot to do, and it can be easy to forget all the tasks that need to be completed to reap a successful harvest.

Stafford Meadows Farms crew is here to guide you. If you’re new to gardening – or if you could simply use a refresher – follow these steps to get your garden ready for planting as soon as spring arrives. We have all the tools and materials for you to have a great season.

Follow these easy FARMER STEPS:

  1. Choose that plant that completes your landscape. Examples Camellias, Knockout Roses, Japanese Maples, Fruit Trees, Hydrangeas, Azaleas, Nandina, Laurels, Cypress, Rhododendrons
  2. Grab your tools – Nothing makes a gardener more successful than having the right tools.  Shovels for digging. Gloves for Protection. Hoses for watering   (picture #5 glove rack) (picture #6 tool rack)
  3. Adding your Starter & Soil amendments – Ever gardener needs help with their green thumb.  Bio-Tone Starter  (picture#7 bio tone) helps establish a good foundation for all your plants. This will make them grow to be happy and healthy plants. Backfill around your plant with soil like Leafgro. This helps add a great medium for the plant to live in.
  4. Doing the work the right way.
  5. Mulch Madness  – Spread your favorite style of mulch to give it that finishing touch to your landscape.
