Happenings

New This Year

Because of the ongoing construction this year, we have had the unique opportunity to update and rearrange our facility. From brand new flooring and shade sails in our Garden Center to a new parking lot and irrigation system, we are excited for you to come and enjoy a brand-new shopping experience. Our Route 7 entrance has closed, but we have a new entrance behind our nursery on Keystone Court. We are looking forward to the improved traffic flow that will happen, as well as less hassle for you getting to our nursery through the increased traffic due to construction. We will continue to provide updates as the changes occur.

There are two different ways you can now reach us:

  • From Route 7, exit onto River Creek Parkway, following the detour signage to Keystone Court.
  • Make a left from River Creek Parkway onto Fort Evans Road
  • Make a left from Fort Evans Road onto Battlefield Parkway
  • Make a left from Battlefield Parkway onto Potomac Station Drive.
  • Keystone Court will be on your right past the shopping center entrance.

Alternatively, there is another option you can use that will bypass some of the posted detours, but will require a U-turn to get to us:

  • From Route 7, exit onto River Creek Parkway, following the detour signage to Keystone Court.
  • Make a left from River Creek Parkway onto Potomac Station Drive
  • Follow Potomac Station Drive until you reach the shopping center on your left. Our entrance will be on the left as well. Make a U-Turn at the shopping center and our entrance will be on the right.

If you use GPS mapping services to find us, WAZE is the best to use at the moment. Just enter our new address of 170 Keystone Court into the app and it’ll get you to us easily. We have a few videos where our Vice-President Ron Meadows took a drive with our Nursery Manager Tom Smith to map out the new ways to reach our location. Watch the videos below to help you navigate for your trip.

Coming Westbound from Route 7 – this shows the marked detour route

Coming Eastbound from Route 7 – this shows the alternate Potomac Station Drive route

One thing that has not changed this year is our core staff. While the nursery may look different, we will maintain the same high-quality customer service you have come to expect from our Leesburg store.

Community

Our Leesburg location is conveniently located just east of the historic downtown area. The Leesburg historic district has undergone much growth and improvements over the last 30 years as Loudoun has become one of the fastest-growing counties in the nation. The growth of our nursery and community is very important to us, something unique we do is working with LCPS special needs students to offer them an inside look at interaction in the workplace.

The downtown area offers an array of unique small businesses to check out, such as the quaint taverns and pubs, wineries, breweries, fine dining, antique shops, and great boutique shopping. Along with our great dining and shopping, we have fun events and activities, from downtown street festivals to ghost tours. This year the Leesburg Flower and Garden Show is back at a new location.

Summer Update

As spring has turned to summer our Leesburg location continues to get in fresh shipments of annuals and perennials every week. The nursery is still busting with color items for any of your garden needs. Crape Myrtles are about to be in bloom and we have a variety to choose from.

Now has become the time to start thinking about maintaining all the beautiful plants you purchased this spring. Don’t forget to stop in check out our expanded line of watering supplies, from soaker hoses to that special patio wand you might need. We also carry a full line of pesticides, including many organic ones, for any problems that may come up.

We appreciate the patience and support everyone has shown us this spring, as we were forced to relocate the entrance to Keystone Court. We didn’t move just our entrance, though. It also gave us a chance to make many exciting new changes and improvements. If you didn’t make it by this spring, come on in and check us out!
