We’re back in the nursery and getting ready for another great season in 2025!! After a FREEZING cold winter, we are all looking forward to warmer temperatures and longer days at Meadows Farms Frederick! Our spring plant material is starting to arrive, we’re getting the garden center unpacked, and building tables in anticipation of a steady flow of products coming in from here on out. With most of our staff returning from 2024, we are ready, able and willing to help you with any of your landscape and garden needs
We will be getting our first shipment of perennials this week, and we will bring in new products every week throughout the entire season. We will have a huge selection of perennials, including our American Beauties line of native plants, and Deerlerious deer resistant perennials throughout the season. As soon as the weather allows, our annual and vegetable tables will be packed with everything you need to make your home gardens beautiful and productive! Our knowledgeable staff can help with selecting the perfect plants for your situation.
The trucks are lining up to bring in our deciduous trees and shrubs first thing, along with many of our specimen plants and evergreens. As the weather warms, we will keep adding to our inventory. Screening evergreens, fruit trees, foundation plants and flowering shrubs will all be here before we know it. We look forward to once again having the most expansive and diverse selection of nursery stock in the Frederick area!
We will once again be hosting free Kid’s Crafts events throughout the season, along with new paid workshops for kids and adults alike. We will be hosting educational seminars to help you be successful in your endeavors and to build your garden knowledge.
