Or, more commonly referred to as <strong>Virginia Sweetspire<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As you may figure out with Virginia being in its name, Virginia Sweetspire is a native shrub to our area. Right now it is in flower. It has fragrant, white flower spikes that are 3 to 6-inches long that covers the shrub from now to early summer. Virginia Sweetspire is noted for having large flowers and fantastic fall color.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHenry\u2019s Garnet\u201d prefers to be planted in full sun to partial shade. It does well in moist, slightly acidic, humus-rich soils.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">HERE IS A LIST OF OTHER BENEFITS OF HENRY\u2019S GARNET<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Has fragrant white flowers that attract butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.<\/li>\n<li>Beautiful fall color for many weeks.<\/li>\n<li>Provides protective cover for wildlife.<\/li>\n<li>Good for using as a border plant, mass planting, or hedge.<\/li>\n<li>Tolerant of a wide range from boggy to dry soils.<\/li>\n<li>Deer resistant.<\/li>\n<li>Has no serious insect or disease problems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>PLANT SIZE:<\/strong> 3-4 feet tall x 5-6 feet wide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>HARDINESS:<\/strong> Hardy to zone 5 (-20 degree ). We are Zone 7.<\/p>\n<p>A couple other tips: Plant in well fertile soil. Avoid future fertilizing.<\/p>\n<p>Come see us.
