PROCRASTINATORS – LISTEN UP!!!
I, too, am a procrastinator when it comes to shopping. But, come see us. This time of year we are full of gift ideas for the gardener in your life.
Let’s start with the obvious – the gift of a plant. We pride ourselves on having the biggest and widest selection of assorted tropical houseplants in Central Virginia. In addition to a plant, you can add to the plant gift giving by adding a decorative pot, a watering can, plant fertilizer – make it a complete package.
Also with plants, don’t forget about the outdoor plants. Even though it is mid-December, our soil is still warm for doing some planting. Planting can be with evergreens, such as hollies, boxwoods, or azaleas. Or, it could be with some beautiful evergreen perennials, such as hellebores, heuchera, hardy ferns, etc.
For that outdoor gardener, we have garden gloves, tools, garden ornaments, statuary, concrete birdbaths, and fountains. All of these ideas make great gifts.
Don’t forget about our feathered friends. A birdhouse, a bird feeder, and birdseed make excellent gift ideas. This time of year our feathered friends need our assistance with providing them food, water, and shelter.
Garden books such as the Farmer’s Almanac and the Almanac 2020 calendar make for fun gifts.
