I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sculpture and Fine Arts and went on for my Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. I initially worked in Colorado for the USFS designing scenic byways, overlooks, and campgrounds. After relocating to NC I owned my own design/build Landscape firm. My work was mostly large scale commercial properties, colleges, marinas, golf courses, convention centers and office parks. I was also the Historic Preservation and Environmental Preservation planner for the City of Greenville for many years and taught planning and design at ECU. Since moving to MD, I have enjoyed helping customers transform their yards into beautiful retreats. I have varied skills and can visualize the big picture, in order to create an environment that will be functional and beautiful. I believe my strengths are customer service and really listening to what YOU want. I only take on a small number of customers each year so that I can really provide you with as much time as needed to end in a result that you will enjoy for years to come. My satisfaction comes from my client’s happiness once their project is completed and the project has exceeded their expectations! I am proud of the fact that most of my work is with repeat customers and referrals! I prefer work in and around the Frederick area.
