Amanda began her career in the nursery industry during her high school years in 1990. She later went on to earn a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Idaho in 1997. After moving to Virginia in 2003, Amanda became a Virginia Certified Horticulturist in 2004. She further expanded her expertise in 2006 by becoming a Virginia Licensed Pesticide Applicator and an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist.

Beyond her formal education, Amanda has also studied abroad in Italy and Australia, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both formal and informal landscape design approaches. As a passionate horticulturist and gardener, her motto is Right Plants in the Right Spots.
