James A. Brown, LA, is a distinguished Landscape Architect with 39 years of professional experience in providing creative direction for diverse landscape projects.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Penn State University and pursued advanced studies in Project Management at Harvard University. Mr. Brown is also a United States Coast Guard Veteran having served with Lifeboat Rescue Service on Cape Hatteras, NC.
As a Senior Landscape Architect at Dewberry, Mr. Brown supervised significant projects such as the Dulles Rail Silver Line Landscape Project and the University of Virginia Research Campus Landscape, where his work received the Dugdale Award from the Garden Club of Virginia.
