Some Uique Things About Our Stafford Location:
The head manager, Kevin Coldren, has worked with Meadows Farms for 9 years. He has worked at several Meadows Farms locations. This is his second year as the manager of the Stafford location. His wife Alyssa is also a manager, at the Meadows Farms in Fredericksburg.
Kevin's assistant managers are:
1st assistant Brian Harting has worked for Meadows Farms for 7 years.
1st assistant Stephen Leake has worked for Meadows Farms for 5 years.
2nd assistant Joe Smith has worked for Meadows Farms for 5 years.
It’s Spring and Stafford Meadows Farms has a large assortment of plants for the season. We 
have a large selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs and trees.
Our greenhouse is full of color for the season, including pansies for an early splash of color. As the weather warms up, you can expect to see a variety of plants and colors. Annuals such as begonias, geraniums, petunias, and vinca will give you color all season.
One staple annual Meadows Farms will not be carrying this year is the impatiens. A fungus called Downy Mildew has taken hold in greenhouses and homes all over the United States. This fungus spreads very quickly, damaging and killing impatiens. For our customer’s consideration, we will not be selling a product that will likely be affected by it.
Perennials are perfect choices for seasons of color that return year after year. Typically low growing and somewhat compact, they are good choices to fill holes in your landscaping. Perennials are easy to maintain and come in a large v
ariety. Popular perennials include: hosta, coral bells, daylilies, cone flower, and black-eyed susans.
We also carry plenty of gardening decorations. Decorated stones, wrought-iron baskets, flags, fountains, statues, and much more can be found in our gift shop. An assortment of tools to help you with your landscaping needs are for sale. As well as house plants of all kinds.
For those looking for some larger plants, we have a great selection of shrubs. Whether it’s flowering, colorful, evergreen or a hedge, Meadows Farms has it. Looking for instant height? Our nursery has a variety of ornamental and shade providing trees with their heights ranging from 6 feet to 15 feet. If it’s too big to fit, we deliver to the surrounding area. We deliver anywhere from Triangle to southern Stafford.
If you would prefer to have our trees and shrubs planted for you, the Stafford nursery offers 
Grounds Maintenance installation. The Grounds Maintenance department will pick up your purchased items at the nursery and plant them where you want!
Our Stafford nursery offers many services for your lawn and garden needs. We have a variety of mulches, dyed mulches, bagged rock, straw and sod. We carry our Meadows Farms shredded hardwood mulch, leaf compost and organic compost in bulk. We also have several varieties of palletized stone available, perfect for walls or patios. Again, we deliver if needed.
Finally, the staff here at Stafford Meadows Farms is knowledgeable with many plant problems. Whether it is diseased, infested or even just stressed, bring a picture or cutting of your plant to the store. Our staff will help identify and treat your problem.
