This convenient nursery location offers a full selection of shade and flowering trees, Japanese maples, shrubs, groundcovers, and perennial and annual flowers, including Proven Winners and Simply Beautiful. Included in our selection is many native plant varieties. In addition to our plant material, we have garden tools, topsoils and planting mixes, mulches, fertilizers, and pesticides and a wide variety of organic products. Yes, everything you'll need to plant and care for your lawn and garden.
Areas that we service include but are not limited to Charlestown, Harpers Ferry, Shepardstown, Shannondale, Kearneysville, Martinsburg and Inwood, WV . Areas in VA include Purcellville, Lovettsville, Round Hill, Waterford and Berryville. And MD locations are Brunswick, Knoxville, Boonsboro and Hagerstown. Spring is here! Although the weather doesn’t seem to be cooperating, before you know it the warmer temps. will be here and the flowers will be in bloom. The Nursery is filling up quickly with plants so stop on bye and see what’s new for this spring! Feel free to ask questions or to get advice on your home gardening. Tom Nordby has taken the helm as Nursery manager. He is no stranger to Meadows Farms and
brings 21 years of experience to the table. Managing previous locations like the old Fairfax and Great Falls nurseries as well as assisting at the Dulles location.
-1st Asst. Travis Edens brings 16 years of Meadows Farms experience and worked many years before with various other nurseries and landscaping operations.
-1st Asst. Joel Maltese brings 6 years of experience at Meadows Farms starting out in late 2008.
-2nd Asst. Carl Williams has had experience at our Dulles location and came to us in late summer of 2012. He brings 3 years of experience to the table.
Returning to the Farmer's roots, the first West Virginia store was opened in 2008. An instant success, the nursery has steadily expanded to better serve the needs of the community. The existing building was converted from an auto restoration garage to a fully stocked garden center with products for every gardening need. Selected as nursery manager, Alex Personius has overseen both the construction and expansion of this location.

Manager Profile: Name: Alex Personius Length of Employment: 17 years with Meadows Farms Nursery experience: Certified Professional Horticulturist, B.S. in Environmental Science, 15 years experience with design and installation of landscapes, hardscapes, decking and ponds. Hobbies and Interests: Gardening, Bonsai, dwarf and unusual orchids, golf, disc golf, and anything else outdoors.
Hometown: Richmond, VA...a couple of miles from the "Great Big Greenhouse" location.
