Spring will be here before you know it! Look for Meadows Farms to be your one stop shop for all your gardening needs. Weather you are looking to fill the pots on your deck or going for a total redesign of your property. Meadows Farms has what you need.
Right now we are stocking up heavily on trees and shrubs. Early season perennials are starting to arrive with more coming every week. Annuals and Vegetables will soon be here too, just as soon as it is safe to plant them outside.

Favorite plant: Hosta! I have just over 150 varieties growing at home.
A Western Maryland native. I have been in the plant business my whole life. From a child spending summers on my grandfather’s farm in West Virginia, I learned early how to grow things. This sparked a passion for landscaping and eventually to the nursery business, leading me to a degree in Ornamental Horticulture.
I have been with Meadows Farms Nurseries since the summer of 1994. Starting out as a part time labor coming in after school, working my way up to nursery manager. The last 13 years, here at the Germantown nursery. I always enjoy telling the story of how I started out as a teenager in the parking lot, loading bags of mulch into customer’s cars.

Favorite Plant: Crape Myrtle
Raised in Md and graduate of Damascus High School. I have lived in the area my whole life and enjoy the country setting. Once sports was over with after high school. I hired on with Meadows Farms as a labor and then delivery driver. The place just grew on me. I did everything I could to grow my knowledge of plants and the ways to care for them. That helped me work my way up to an Asst Manager. I have been enjoying it here ever since.
2nd Asst Manager: Diana Lubbenhusen

Interests: Cars, Football, and Hockey.

Favorite Plant: Coral Bell
I grew up in the Montgomery County area. I have always enjoyed being outside and doing things. I have learned a lot about plants while working here. Which has helped me work my way to an assistant manager.

Landscape Design and Installation
We offer Free Landscape Planning with Landscape Designers on staff Thursday through Sunday in the spring and Saturday and Sunday in the autumn months. No appointment is required, just bring photos or a sketch with measurements to assist the designer. Whether you are a do-it-yourselfer, or want our experienced landscaping personnel to do the work for you, our design service is a great place to start.
