Some Unique things about our Frederick Location:
This store is conveniently located just off of 70, west of the golden mile in Frederick. We strive to keep our plants healthy, happy, and competitively priced compared to other local garden centers.
Our store manager, Dave Barnard, has been with the company 
for about 25 years. He is a very experienced gardener/farmer and has a wealth of knowledge about lawn maintenance, hardscaping, landscaping, and disease/pest control.
Back ground: Automotive, sales,farming,construction.
Orinially from: Rockville MaryLand but have lived in Frederick County for 32 years pretty much makes me a native.
Hobbies and interests: Hiking,fishing, Gardening, Road and Mountain Biking,camping with and without Horses. Raising,training and riding horses.Traveling.
Favorite plant: Crape Myrtles and Weeping Japanese Maples.
Frederick Store was opened on March 19th 1990. This location has always been a Nursery.
Hi everybody, we here at the Frederick store are really looking forward to sharing a great year of helping all of our customers to choose and purchase the correct plants to help make your homes more Beautiful and comfortable for you.
We are receiving lots of new and exciting plants to help you out. We also carry a nice line of Native Plants from all over the Eastern Sea-board to enhance your yards and gardens. Don't forget to ask about the deer deterrent plants that we also have available, and we have a very handy book available called Gardening in Deer Country, which has many great ideas on how to combat the ever increasing problem of deer invasions.
So come on over and visit our very friendly and helpful staff.
Frederick has many unique events in our area. Still a rural community at heart with many acres of farm land still being tilled. There are always events going on at the local fair grounds. In spring and fall every little town and community has festivals going on. There are several State Parks in our area that can be used from everything from walking to biking,swimming,horse back riding,camping,fishing.
Our management staff includes, Mandy Weitzel, who has been with Meadows Farms since she was a teenager working as a cashier. 
She is by far the perennial and annual expert at our store.
Alex Hewitt, another 1 of our managers has gone to school for landscape design and can provide a lot of knowledge for our customers.
2nd Assistant Nick Peyton has been with our store for quite some time and are a great asset to our team.
We have a very knowledgeable and helpful staff and should be able to take care of any of your landscaping needs. Whether it be loading a couple bags of mulch or diagnosing a problem, we are dedicated to serving our customers. Our grounds maintenance department also offers installation of any plants purchased at our store to most of Frederick County.
